Partner gets taken to A&E for chest pains. They rule out all the dangerous stuff and tell us he needs to go back to his GP because it's possibly Bronchitis and he needs antibiotics. Ring the GP and they said they don't do the spirometry test there....so what the hell do you actually do there? Are doctors actually doctors anymore or do they sit there waiting for the self important receptionists to decide whether you are important enough to be seen. Absolute worst experience for a so called medical practice. Could not get an appointment after many calls. Walked to the practice and it was closed! Come back tomorrow it said… this at 2pm midweek! Another lady standing outside almost in tears as she was in so much pain. But, on the plus side I’ve gotten better by using a naturopath. That’s the way forward I believe. I have absolutely no faith or trust in this practice.
Priddie is there on Thursdays and boy was I lucky with this audiologist, She is wonderful:professional,calm and SO knowledgeable. She prescribed hearing aids,fitted them,explaining(very clearly)each step of process,no way patronising.. I am totally confident with the aids.,,this is the NHS at its best ,Thank you Pridie'. LReceptionists at surgery were great ,by the way
