I've been to a few occasions in the Orleans Ball Room. The events are always great but my only complaint is, there are no bathrooms in the New Orleans area, which is horrible especially for seniors and kids. In order to use the bathrooms, you must walk to the Bourbon Towers area....
Terrible!!!! Not worth it. The restaurant was awful... Manager had a horrible attitude.
I was there for Atlantic City Fashion Week (did not book a room), however the place is completely quiet and you hardly see anyone around. I found it very inconvenient that there was only one restroom available and it was on the complete opposite side as I recently injured my foot and cannot walk long distances. Also when we arrived and did valet parking they asked to pay cash right on the spot, what if I only had my credit card? Get the most bang for your buck with the balcony suite. It's a beautiful room with an unbeatable view.
I stayed there and there was a hole in the wall in my room. My wife had a migraine headache and I checked out 20 minutes late explained the situation at checkout and they wanted to apply a late checkout fee. What a poor excuse for a hotel.
The room me and my boyfriend had was nice, although one of the lamps wasn't working. It was like a ghost town, but the receptionist explained how they had just re-opened and that by May, there would be more to do in the hotel. The only complaints I have is that the beds could have been more comfy and that there should be a floor for folks who bring their pets. The people next door to us had a dog that constantly barked and made it hard to enjoy the peace and quiet and sleep. Also it would be awesome if the windows were able ... read more
