Get directionsER is slow and unorganized 5 and 1/2 hour ER wait. Crazy!!!
My son and I were transported to VRBH-ER after we were involved in a car accident last week Thursday. I am so grateful for the care we received from every employee that we came into contact with at the hospital. I am extremely satisfied with the exceptional care from Tara Heburn, PA, Colleen Devries, RN and Virginia Mirenda, RN. I am an employee of CHS - Bayfront Health and I am proud to be a part of such a loving and caring group. Thank you for all you do...
Went into the Venice ER with extreme abdominal pain, swelling, nausea and fainting spells. They did blood, urine, and a CT. They said all was normal except for a cyst on my last remaining ovary, gave me pain meds and sent me home. They didn't even continue to see if they could find out what was wrong with me. Well, guess what happened when I decided to go to a different hospital.... I was just discharge from Port Charlotte's hospital after my surgery to have my appendix removed and that cyst.
Their ER is awful. waited for 90 minutes for a blood draw, sat & listened to 2 of the employees fighting, then one of them walked in & complained about her co-worker & asked if she was supposed to draw blood... she wasnt sure cause she "was late for work & cant get computer up"... wow!
Last night my 92 year old mom fell. She hit the back of her head and was bleeding. She is on a blood thinners. We arrived at the hospital 5 she was not seen by anyone till at least 6:30 8 they gave her a cat scan which we were told results would be back in a half house we were again seated in the lobby of the emergency room. By this time the bleeding had stopped at which this time she wanted to go home. We did not get inside until 11 she was given an exray for her elbow. Now it s after midnight the poor lady has not had dinn... read more
We took my mother to ER for a very high heart rate (atrial fib). They took her in almost immediately. She didn’t have her Medicare card with her, but the admissions staff were quite helpful in looking up her number for us. The nursing care was excellent; the doctor provided meaningful updates & seemed genuinely concerned about her well-being. They effectively brought her heart rate down, monitored for some time, then released her. All-in-all we had a very good experience @ Venice Regional Hospital!
Last night I took my daughter to the ER. The nurses we had were amazing with her. They offered her dinner and a blanket. They also took their time since she has sensory issues. One of our nurses was ashley and she was amazing. Ty for taking care of Madison.
Go to this hospital if you want to be totally neglected! 8 hours wasted in your stupid ER only to be transferred FINALLY to a place that could manage my daughters care. HOWEVER because it took so long for you guys to do your job, my daughter wasn’t transferred in time to have the test she needed done during normal business hours and now they’re unable to do said test. Had that ER doctor today been more caring and not so reluctant to dig deeper into what was going on with my daughter, we would’ve gotten where we needed in a t... read more
