As always, amazing help, support and advice from the lovely lady working on reception today at the surgery and ongoing amazing care from all staff here during my health journey, especially Dr Jones and Dr Patal. Thank you for all you do.
Some doctors are great generally, others poor bedside manor, some run incredibly late. Not enough parking, blocked in by staff member as it was the only space left in the car park. No parking outside practice as this is for permit holders. It is an issue, there must be people using the car park that are not staff/doctors. I was then told off by receptionist for parking where I did. No sign post saying it was staff, it was the only space available at the time. Rude receptionist on the phone showing no empathy or understanding, asking personal questions and making assumptions, ending up leaving me in tears by the end of the phone call and feeling worse than I already did!
I came to pick up a letter and asked if I could pay the fee for it. I gave Karen my details and she seemed inconvenienced at best. I made the payment, but used the wrong card accidentally so the card declined. I noticed that the letter had my old surname rather than my new surname so was reluctant to pay when the details were incorrect. I asked if my name could be amended on the system Karen explained she did not know how to do this.
