Rooms were ok( older, need a little remodeling) Walking distance to Globe Life Park (5-7) minutes. 5 stars to the front desk staff, 5 stars to the restaurant staff and food, close parking
Excellent from start to finish! Love the pool and the pavilion on the hill.
Where are guest supposed to park during a game when they rent out parking places??? Another black couple & I've been waiting on our rooms to get ready for over an hour but others (non blacks) are checking into their room! Desk guy is not even checking on our rooms! I'm an SPG member also! Not good!
The Sheraton here is in need of some desperate help in its rooms. First room no shower knob, paint peeling, dead bugs by window, shower head falling off. Room 2 shower was full of MOLD, I was told that's just water stains but if water stains had fuzz on them I would have believed them burn marks on ceiling what a disaster. Room 3 was better but they need to send there managers back to training because this is the club level and the rooms are still full of rusty hinges cracked tiles and dirty grout. The one nice thing was having the convention center so close. But I accidentally left my tennis shoes in the room after check out and within less than 24 hours the maid claims not ever finding them. I know they were in there so congratulations to the maid with stinky tennis shoes. There needs to me more oversight with stealing people's personal items. Unacceptable and very frowned upon.
The newer rooms are nice; not especially breath taking, needed updates. We asked not to put on the designated pet floor, she said the fourth and six floor was the pet for, but apparently the seventh floor was to; that's were she put us, with other guess that had dogs.
The newer rooms are getting renovated. Older rooms are dirty and falling apart. The front desk staff are rude. Cleaning staff don't speak english and are not interested in anyone who does. Your rooms are never ready for check in. Staff thinks it's normal to overbooked and have no rooms ready. The concierge group are the one highlight...Courteous and helpful.
What had a wonderful stay and everyone here was so friends
