I absolutely love this office. They all know me on a first name basis. It feels like I am at home and I am actually hard with my issues. I have been through a lot of OBs, and I would never go to another one. I never felt heard from other obis, and here I was heard, and understood. Staff is friendly, but I had a horrible experience. I felt unheard when telling him my issues and I was not taken seriously. Not sure if it's because I am young or what, but he did not care that I was in pain. I felt like he kept having me come in for more procedures because of "suspicious" tissue so that he could keep sending my hefty bills. This was the most exceptional experience I've ever had visiting a doctor's office. Dr. Shelnutt is incredible as is his staff. They are so extremely kind and patient. I have used Dr Shellnut since he delivered my second child fourteen years ago. He is still my absolute favorite. He is the the kindest most thorough Dr. He listens and addresses your concerns in the most caring way. He makes me feel so comfortable and when you’re going to an OB , that’s huge! I was a former patient of Dr. Shellnut. He delivered last 3 outta 5 of my children. Very great , knew when there was something wrong when other doctors said things were fine. So I feel like he is the very best doctor even though it has been over 17 years. He is still very patient and very nice and very caring. I would recommend anyone looking to get the best care and advice from Dr. Shellnut.
Weird to say, but I love my gynecologist! Dr. Shelnutt listened to my medical issues, examined my current and past symptoms, then gave me several options while explaining each of them thoroughly. I felt heard and taken care of. If you need a wonderful gynecologist, then you found it in Dr. Shelnutt. He is professional, kind and thorough; the best.
