Dr Shelnutt is very caring. He is respectful and takes the time to answer any questions and address any concerns. Nice and efficient staff.
Dr. Shelnutt is the most kind hearted gentleman there is. He knows the questions to ask and what your answers should generally be. He listens. Drove from Lake Oconee to discuss HRT. He was very educational and also respected my own research and concerns. He is knowledgeable on statistics and immediately knew rates of discrete risks. This is important to me and tells me that he keeps up with research. His staff was also lovely, very courteous and understanding. The office is decorated like a spa and it made it feel comfortable. Great experience overall.

I have had the pleasure of having Dr. Shelnutt as my gynecologist for several years. Excellent, cheerful staff. Upon walking into the office, you feel welcomed. I have never waited for over five minutes to be seen. Dr. Shelnutt’s nurse is always smiling and engaging. Dr. Shelnutt is a phenomenal Dr. caring, easy to communicate with, he listens, and does not rush through my appointment. Honestly, can any woman say she looks forward to her annual gynecology visit? Dr. Shelnutt will reverse the narrative.
This doctor is a true gem! I have been so blown away at every visit I’ve had at this office! He sits down and TALKS to you and he LISTENS! What a concept!! He ask alot of questions to find out exactly what you’re dealing with and then he gives you many options to help you! I absolutely love this office. They all know me on a first name basis. It feels like I am at home and I am actually hard with my issues. I have been through a lot of OBs, and I would never go to another one. I never felt heard from other obis, and here I was heard, and understood. Staff is friendly, but I had a horrible experience. I felt unheard when telling him my issues and I was not taken seriously. Not sure if it's because I am young or what, but he did not care that I was in pain. I felt like he kept having me come in for more procedures because of "suspicious" tissue so that he could keep sending my hefty bills.
