I was provided excellent care. Every staff member was friendly, courteous and thorough. Dr. Smitherman was exceptionally thorough. She explained every detail about my surgery; my post care follow up (ie., physical therapy), and expectations and restrictions for the future. I would highly recommend Dr. Smitherman and her staff.

Very calm and spent lots of time explaining and answering questions. Did not dismiss questions, even if they didn't turn out to be relevant. Also gave good consideration to all options other than surgery and explained why or why not something would apply to me and my situation. I felt I could trust her.
