For decades I was prescribed narcotics, had multiple injections and a prior surgery, in addition to using various exercise routines to address lower back pain and numbness in my back and legs. My experience has and always will be the best! She cares she understands she explains everything in detail! She saved my life with not only 1 surgery but 2 within hrs of each other! I am so very grateful she exists in this world! She did my brain tumor and removed it with nothing left! My family and I are so greatly impressed for her existence in life! Dr. Smitherman has been exceptional! She saw me after a referral from the emergency room. She took time to learn about me, my symptoms and my medical history. I have a complicated medical condition that many doctors are not knowledgeable about, but she was! She was able to discuss the possibility of the impact it may have on the current issue and how that may effect various treatments. I had a wonderful visit with Dr. SMITHERMAN and she made my visit with her reassuring and safe because I myself are afraid of doctors but she relax me and talk to me with concerns and cares about me and my health while I was there and I felt safe after everything was being administered to me by her staff and I give her the highest ratings anyone can give because she wants what is best for you and your health and I appreciate that as a patient
Dr. Smitherman took on my head injury case as I was being treated in the local hospital ER. She arranged a procedure that effectively resolved my issue and followed up with clear information and a referral for further support.
Follow-up visit to discuss results of spinal fusion surgery done 18 months ago. My surgery was 100% successful and I have been pain free since the operation. Thanks to Dr Smitherman for her great work. She has been wonderful and caring in handling my case.
