Bert (or Albert), from Sheffield Local Driveways, was doing some work for a neighbour and knocked on my door to ask if I wanted him to do some for me. As his quote was lower than a previous quote I’d obtained, I foolishly agreed. We agreed he would remove some broken concrete in a couple of places in my path and replace it with tarmac. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! This person - calling himself ALBERT is a scammer. He charged us full price 3 (k) for such a shoddy job! He even threatened us verbally. The whole “team” is a joke. The “quality” is non existent. We asked numerous times for in invoice about the work that has been done, as well as warranty. I rang him over 20 times as well as sent over 20 text messages.
