I have gotten tattoos at several other places and not one of them made me feel as immediately comfortable as Shavon. Not only is she super nice, her work was fantastic! I went to her not having any real idea of what I wanted and came home with a tattoo I absolutely love! I highly recommend Shavon's Purple Lotus to anyone and everyone.

I got my second tattoo today at The Purple Lotus. I got my first tattoo about 5 years ago so it was almost like getting one for the first time. I got a simple but meaningful design done on my wrist, which Shavon drew beautifully. If anyone is getting a tattoo for the first time, Shavon is a great person to get it from. I decided to visit the Purple Lotus after it was recommended to me by a co-worker. I love the home-like atmosphere of the shop. It is comfortable and interesting. When I went in for my consultation, Shavon new exactly what I wanted and listened to my ideas, even though I didn't have a drawing and didn't even know for sure where I wanted my new tattoo. I recently went in for my 2nd tattoo with two of my best friends. We were walk ins and once shavon told us that she was booked until may, we figured she was legit. We were at the shop for about 6.5 hours and I honestly loved every minute. Spending the time there, before getting our tattoos, was awesome and I felt 100% comfortable in the environment. Shavon is everything you want in a tattoo artist. I told her an idea that i had and she brought it to life and exceeded the design i pictured. it is unexplainable how satisfied i am with the Purple lotus! she is the only artist i will ever go to! she did my first and she will def do my last! not a crooked line in my sleeve and the shop is imaculate!! cant say enough about it and will recomend everyone i know! very professional and takes pride in her work and loves the art of the tattoo!! Very Very satisfied!!

First off This is my second tattoo, but i wish she did my first and second. Shavon was amazing, could not get any better!! Shavon, You are pretty much bomb diggity sweetheart and I totally loved your staff. My foot tattoo is amazing and I have received nothing but mad compliments on it. Thanks for the complex on my chubby toes and the moans and groans of PAIN that could apparently take Jenna Jameson back to aminature status ! LOL. You're awesome and I can't wait for my next appointment on the 10th of April. I am addicted to tattoos and it's all your fault!

Firstly, I have been contemplating a tattoo for a long time, and when I came up with a design, had my mother look at it, and come up with a few more, and then sent it to Shavon, she turned it into a work of art. The design she came up with was very impressive, and definitely right along the idea with what I was trying to convey with the image.
