A dear friend and fellow yogi recommend that I let Shavon design a work of art for me. I let the artist be the artist she is and the outcome is fantastic. I love it and will visit again to have more body art done.

I spent about a month reviewing different locations as I wanted to get a tattoo in honor of my son. Shavon's was the only place that I heard consistantly good things about. I instantly felt comfortable with her and the work she was doing. After I was finished it became obvious why there were only positives said about her and the Purple Lotus. Great experience. Great work.

I was lucky enough to have my first tattoo done at Purple Lotus. I am completely blown away with everything. I walked in with an idea and Shavon turned it into a piece of art. The level of detail and heart she put into my artwork just blows my mind every time I look at it. It turned out to be so much more then I ever envisioned it even could be. I honestly can't wait to go back and get some more work done and I would recommend Purple Lotus to anyone.

Just recently recieved my second tattoo from Shavon's Purple Lotus, and once again, it couldn't have came out ANY better! Shavon's Purple Lotus is the ONLY place I'll ever get my ink done. The atmosphere is unlike any other. Laid back, easy going, cool people. Hands down, best shop in SC, no if's, and's or but's. Whether it's your 1st tattoo, or your 50th, this is the place to get it done! 5 stars is not enough to rate Shavon's work!

I went to Shavon's at the recommendation of some friends. I wanted to have a really bad tattoo covered up. I told Shavon that I liked penguins and playing the piano. The design she came up with literally blew me away. The work was started in October of 2010. When she finished the first one, I couldn't stop there. I Have 3 tattoos on my back, all by different people. And you can definitely tell. Why I didn't stick with one? I have no idea, but hey, it happened, so I have to live with it. After searching for awhile, I finally found Shavon's Purple Lotus. All I can is when I walked in, i was instantly pleased and couldn't wait to get a tattoo. Shavon and her staff made me feel very welcomed. They were very professional and I already have my appt. to finish my leg and can't wait. Thanks to Shavon, I love my new tattoo!!!!

My first tattoo experience was, unfortunately, not at Purple Lotus. The artist spent a long time putting together my ideas in a bare-bones kind of way. He insisted that the work could not be done smaller than he did it, and he had no ideas to elaborate upon what I walked in with. I went to the Purple Lotus to get a cover up tattoo. It turned out so great and Shavon and her staff are super friendly .The shop is so comfortable that you feel like part of the family. I will def. go back in the near future to for all my tattoos. The shop is not run of the mill tatto shop. Shavon does custom tattoos so you will not see your tattoo on anyone else if she designs it.Shavon is super nice and friendly . So go on over and visit .
