Everyone in this shop is excellent both professionally and on a personal level. They don't just give you an amazing tattoo, they become friends with you in the process. For the duration of the tattoo that I was getting, Shavon and I discussed many things ranging from family and friends to the possibility of cyborg uprisings. If you want to go to a great studio where they truly care about the artwork and what you want, no need to look anywhere else. Shavon will take care of you and work with you throughout every step of the process. Shavon is also a very VERY talented artist and will create what you want. There isnt enough characters allowed in this box to fully describe how happy you will be leaving there with what you want. Shavon's Purple Lotus is an awesome tattoo shop. Great prices for even better work. The staff have great attitudes and are willing to have a conversation with you while you wait. She added her own touch of detail and coloring to the work on my arm and made it look perfect, and she even fixed the ink on my wrist for no extra charge. I'll be going to Shavon for all of my future work!
My wife recently discovered Purple Lotus during out trip to the Columbus Children's Museum. I had gone to several tattoo shops in Augusta, Ga where I was temporarily living and they ALL told me the level of detail for my tattoo was impossible. Very professional and clean. Shavon is very passionate about her art and works with you so that you get exactly what you want.
Clean environment, educational if you have questions. I'd hang out up there all day if I could. Every time I've been I talk to whomever and we show off our ink, it is great. It's feels more like a family than a business, mostly. I tell any and everyone that Shavon is worth the price and the wait, after all a tattoo is for life. I had body image issues before I went to the Purple Lotus, now I feel as beautiful as the ink on me....and I personally wouldn't go anywhere else for a tattoo.
Shavon is the best! She was able to fit me in even though she was booked for 2 months. The place is VERY clean and the staff and visitors are friendly. It is a great place. Very laid back. She even gave me two souvenirs from my visit (not tattoo related). How cool is that!? I would strongly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a tattoo. Flash is not involved here. I'm from Oklahoma and was visiting my daughter when we stopped in to Purple Lotus on a whim. My first impression was one of awe: what a far out place!!! A calm retreat from the crazy world outside. Although we both have tats, we weren't sure what we wanted, but thought we would do the mother/daughter tat. lol.. Shavon and her crew were so patient with us, it was amazing.
