Shovon did an exceptionnal job fixing a tattoo that was done at another establishment. What makes her unique is her ability to custom design a piece that fits you and is unique to only you. Shavon and her staff actually take the time to get to know you and make you feel like you are family. The atmosphere is so peaceful and only adds to the experience. All I can say is that I was blown away at how beautiful the piece was and I cant wait to go back!

I had a tattoo from 30 years ago that had turned into an unattractive blob on my outer ankle. Shavon not only added an absolutely beautiful new tattoo, she also did a wonderful job making the older tattoo look fresh and a part of the newer one. I am recommending every person I know that's interested in getting a tattoo to come here. The atmosphere is perfect, and everyone is insanely friendly and nice. Two of my friends and I got "Don't Panic" and a small whale on our arms, and they look fantastic. the lines are very, very clean and it only took a few minutes. This was absolutely what my idea of a perfect tattoo experience should be. if you want a tattoo, go here. i can't be more clear.

I recently went to Shavon for my first tattoo. She, her family and co-workers, and even her customers made me feel comfortable. She did an awesome job on the tattoo. And, because I had a time limit due to a traveling commitment, she worked me into her schedule. I plan to go back to her for my next tattoo.

I have been looking for a local shop to use,but have not found one I have really heard many good things about. I have gotten all of my other work done in Charlotte, and was honestly scared to use any of the local shops. A friend of mine had gotten work done by Shavon, and was saying nothing but good things about her work,and her shop. I decided to give it a shot, and I'm very glad I did! I went to the Purple Lotus the day after Thanksgiving and Shavon tattooed stars on my foot that she had designed. The facility was so comfortable and was definitely a spa-like experience which was much better than the other tattoo studios I have gone to. Shavon is an incredible artist and has a great sense of humor so it made the experience that much better. The colors on the tattoo are so bright and the quality is exceptional. Thank you Shavon!!!

Shavon is an awesome artist. She made me feel comfortable. I love my tattoo and its not even finished yet. I would recommend her to everyone. She is original and great at what she does. I will never go anywhere else to get a tattoo ever again! I am at this very moment telling people about her and trying to get her more business because she deserves it!

I absolutely loved my experience at Shavon's Purple Lotus. I'm from Illinois and was only in Columbia for a short time and noticed the abundance of awesome reviews for this particular place. The tattoo I got there is truly beautiful it's now a week later and after following the aftercare instructions it looks better then I could have imagined. I went to Shavon's Purple Lotus to get a half-sleeve done. After my father passed away about a year ago I wanted to immortalize his memory on my body.
