I could not have had a better first tattoo experience. Shavon takes a great deal of pride in her work and the attention to detail was phenomenal. Make sure to get your body art here it is worth every penny.

Finding Shavon and the Purple Lotus staff has been an absolute joy! My fiance had an old piece of ink fixed that he had since childhood, then I got my first piece on my back about 2 weeks ago. Shavon worked with me to make it something that expressed who I was and what I was wanting to convey. I am so thankful for this wonderful woman... We both love our tattoos... many thanks!

This was the most amazing tattoo experience. I could not have asked for anything better. Shavon took the time to understand the design I brought to her and as a result I could not be happier with my tattoo. I don't care where I move to, I will always come back to Shavon for my tattoos.

Wow, what can I say.... Shavon is very good at her work, she is proud of what she does and will not give you something that someone else has. Everything she does is original and vibrant with color. I cannot stop looking at my new tattoo, I just LOVE it. Shavon and her family made me feel very comfortable like I was at home. The entire experience was wonderful and I will be going back for more.......

My experience at the Purple Lotus was wonderful and Shavon is amazing. I am extremely pleased with my tattoo! It is beautiful and I almost cried when I saw it :). The atmosphere made the experience even better. Shavon was friendly, warm, and funny. She has a wonderful personality and our conversation helped me enjoy the tattoo while keeping my mind off the pain. I know that for any future work I will DEFINITELY be going to Shavon! Look forward to the experience again!

I had a terrible piece of twenty year old art on my right shoulder that other tatoo artists told me would be limited to just a few options, and I didn't like any of their suggestions. Shavon sat me down and said she could design anything I wanted. I now know the difference. Shavon is a talented artist, who just happens to use skin as her canvas. You can get a tatoo from alot of places in town, if you like driving a 1980 Honda. Want a Ferrari? Go see Shavon.

My husband and I both had artwork by Shavon. She did a fantastic job on both!! My husbands first tat and she and her husband made it so relaxing. Great people! Great art! Would not go anywhere else and would definitely recommend her to everyone.

Oh, where do I begin? Is there a word limit here? My boyfriend and I were in Columbia and, honestly, we picked Shavon's shop off the internet because they were open until 10:00 (it was 7:45ish when we were looking) and because they boasted that they are the kind of place you can take your grandma to get tattooed. We showed up at Shavon's right at 8:00 and walked into what looked like a massage parlor to me. Shavon is hands down the best tattoo artist alive! I got my first tattoo from her and was speechless at her amazing work! If anyone wants a tattoo go to Shavon. I will be getting all my tattoo's done by her and no one else!
