I really have had absolutely amazing care at Austin Eye. Driving Wong and his staff are perfection!
Since Dr Wong opened his Taj Mahal, he gauges and over tests every single patient with so many unnecessary tests and it’s all not covered by insurance for a reason. Additionally both my husband and I paid $14K a piece to have our lenses changed so we would no longer need glasses, and I had to go back and get another surgery for additional fee of course, and my husband has been back 10 times to get correct fitting for lenses that have never worked since the surgery made his sight even worse. He should absolutely be reported.
I was floored by the office furnishings. Then the professional way I was treated with hardly any wait. I even sent pictures to my friends!! Kudos Dr. wong!! Now give to the poor.
A very pleasant experience. Didn’t have to wait long. The doctors assistants were amazing. Dr. Wong came in he was very caring. I felt like I got exceptionally excellent care.
Dr Wong runs a well-oiled machine at Austin Eye - everything is smooth. I've made my appmt for cataract surgery & can update this review after surgery.
Dr. Wong was knowledgeable and kind. He made me feel at ease from the first handshake.
Dr. Wong and his staff are professionals who took the time to explain the tests and make me feel comfortable during the process of evaluating my need for cataract surgery. The various pieces of equipment used were state of the art and the reports they produced gave Dr. Wong good information as he began his thorough exam of my eyes. His evaluation didn't overpromise and his explanations were reasonable.I look forward to having the surgery.

WORDS OF WARNING TO THE WISE! Austin Eye treats people like units of money and not as patients. They advertise on TV, which is extremely unprofessional for physicians/surgeons, and it’s obvious that all they care about is making $$$ and not providing quality care! They also doublebook patients and run you through their clinic like you’re cattle!
