Visited Dr. Wong for cateract surgery. He gave clear and unbiased advice. He is excellent.
I am doing this review because AE asked me to do it. I would have just as well had a call with them.In any event, I went to the appointment ready and excited to get lense replacement surgery so I could ditch reading glasses, knowing I'd pay around $15k out of pocket for both eyes. While the staff was great (though waiting 20 minutes with one other patient in lobby was disappointing), the doctor was MIA. After being in glasses for 60 years, I had premium lens replacement in both eyes by Dr. Wong. As I had a bad astigmatism, I was in hopes that I would be able to drive and see the TV. I assumed I'd still need reading glasses. The results exceeded my expectations. I see 20-15 and read the smallest line o the 'reader chart'. This is the second experience that I am having with Austin Eye. There business operation is extremely professional and courteous. Dr. Wong is absolutely candid, honest and transparent when it comes to explaining a client's options, and expected results, from whatever treatment is being considered.He has demonstrated great expertise and superior knowledge during the discussions that I have had with him regarding potential options for improving my vision.
