We strive to use high quality organic or premium local grown ingredients for all of our products.. We have a small simple menu so we can focus on the highest quality cuisine. We also source our own tea from my own farm in Fujian, China.

The tea selection is unlike any other that you will find anywhere, except in China. The food, as well, is of the highest quality with complex and beautiful flavors. The dumplings are my favorite, with the flavor lingering on the palate. The service is phenomenal. Shang Tea is a MUST experience if you're in Kansas City.

Delicious, authentic, Chinese cuisine, and fabulous selection of fine teas. My husband and I call this our absolute favorite authentic Chinese in the city! Make sure to get there early as they run out of food sometimes! we recommend the Shang chicken with a side salad and a red tea! 😊 — with Sean Quinn.

Great Place to go to when in KC
This is one of my favorite shops. I loved sitting down to taste several teas, and the staff was very helpful with the questions I had.
The best tea experience in Kansas City or any city.
My husband and I visited this beautiful and relaxing tea shop on our last visit to KC. After a wonderful lunch, I bought some of their Aged White Tea and Tangerine Blossom Red Tea. The quality is excellent and I can’t wait to try more of their teas!
