The birthday place – I just celebrated one of my best birthday party at shabashabu. We reserved the whole private room for our party...wow...sushi was great...and wonderful service.
Waste of money & time – So many reasons I won't go back to this place... Rude hostess Tasteless Thai food - so bland Inept servers Way too expenssive for the food quality Music was so loud at one point that the 5 people in our party couldn't even manage a conversation over dinner Save your money and your time and go to Sawasdee for the best Thai in the Triangle.
service, questionable? – slow service. food was alright, but presentation shouldn't be everything, the food should be up to par. i might go there again, if there's nothing else around at the time.
seabass is the greatest – i was at shabashabu on Tuesday night on the Thai side. the decoration was beautiful and the atmosphere was very comtemporary. Though, i had to wait a little bit for the service, it was worth it. i had seabass, which is a little bit spicy and sour. the ingredients was very original. i love how they serve the dish with some spicy decoration. i was very impressed at the quantity of the food and the quality was the best. i love this place and would def. go back there again. jessie
shabashabu, I would have to say, is a bit more expensive than others. But the price you pay actually "worth" the experience and the food! I had Japanese food last Friday night and their Eel sause is GREAT! Though the service is kind of slow but the waiter i had named "John" was great. the decoration is simple, but you just feel comfortable all around.
Something Different – I was first surprised to see that they had live djs to perform. This made for a lively mood when my friends and I met for dinner on Friday. The staff was polite and prompt. The Thai for was very authentic, unlike most resturants in the area. The louge area was really nice and the music fit the chic big city feel.
wonderful!! – The atmosphere and food are simply perfect. The service was some of the best I have ever had. Even though the atmosphere is very modern and chic, the food was authentic Thai cuisine and all the flavors were wonderful. We felt relaxed, at home and well taken care of. I would reccomend this to anyone. We had a delightful evening and I will be back!!!
Great – it's just great, i'm there 2 times a week. sushi is fresh, everything is great
I love the food – the place is beautiful, especially on the Thai side. my waitress had on this unique, beautiful thai dress that she said it was from Thailand. the food is amazing. service is good. try satay, it's delicious
