Sergio came out to the house for a blown capacitor on my outside unit. He diagnosed it quick and gave me an estimate. He is extremely knowledgeable and his customer service is top notch. Before he left he made sure I didn't have any other questions. The job was high quality and quick. I highly recommend Service First!
We needed to find someone to fix our Air Conditioner and after making 6 calls to different companies our seventh call was to Service First. After hearing that either the other companies were backed up until next week and most wanted to charge an emergency fee because they were so busy they would be overloading their schedules. I had to wait for someone to come but I was at work anyhow so no big deal. Sergio got here at 12 checked my system, braved my dogs, checked for leaks, added freon, quoted a price (but wasn't pushy or said "I needed it") for a new system (one part is from 1982 and the other is from 1996) in case I wanted to upgrade mine. Cost was a little higher than I expected but what do I know about the price of freon (the old stuff, not the new, environmentally friendly stuff). Just got to say that I'am so pleased with the work that was done by Service Frist. I had to have my whole entire system replaced inside and out and the gentlemen from Service First where very friendly and very efficient in installing my unit. I called them on Monday and they were there on Tuesday and my air was working that evening. They also went the extra mile to accomendate me with payment arrangements. I was so pleased with the service from Service First. Sergio was one of the best professionals I have hired in a long time. We will only call on Service First for all of our air conditioning and heating services. When our a/c went out on a Friday afternoon around 5 p.m., we initially called another repair service. I called for emergancy service at 10:30 on a friday night....90 degrees outside and my ac would not turn on. They answered the phone (no leaving a message) and came out within the hour!! My AC was working with in 30 mins. My service man was super nice and knowledgable. I am only calling them from now on.
With a doubt, this company is the BEST A/C company in Texas. Last November 2008 my A/C unit stopped cooling. I called a local company who conducted an inspection and within 2 minutes stated I needed to replace the entire unit for $8,000! I contacted Service First for a second opinion. They came that same day and after a thorough diagnostic evaluation determined that a hard start kit could possibly restart the compressor. Service first is hands down the best air conditioning and heating company in San Antonio. I called two other places and they could neither accomodate me or give me a fair price. Service first came the very next day and got the job done in half the time and were very affordable. They even sent additional trucks to get the job finished in time with no extra charge. Last month my wife calls me while I'm out of town, which i tend to be a lot and says the central AC was on it's last leg according to some other A/C company and it would cost $$$ amount to replace.
