I visit Anne-Do for a Bowen massage every fortnight and I really cherish our time together; it is my opportunity to relax and reset my mind and body. Following the massage I feel at ease with my physical self, as if we’ve been able to let go of the tension I’ve been holding. Not only do I have clarity of mind, I also feel weightless due to the tension and discomfort being released. She provides me with a very peaceful and safe space, and I couldn’t imagine my life without Anne-Do being in it.
Being (luckily) the son of Anne-Do, I have been far from opposed to a treatment or two during mum's training period and in holidays back from uni. As a 20 year old enthusiastic cyclist and keen footballer the treatments given are an absolute saviour for my legs, as opposed to the arduous foam roller sessions I am left with at uni. I found Anne-Do after completing research for complimentary therapies as part of a Reflexology Diploma. I chose Bowen Therapy as I'd never heard of it before & was intrigued what it was. During my research I came across a very positive review on the Bowen website by a woman who had ME/CFS (a condition I have) stating how the therapy had changed her life. What a relaxing experience I've had every time I've visited Anne-do! I've fell asleep a few times! I feel my body totally relax with the nerves and muscles connecting to each other almost like their talking after every move! It's hard to explain what it does but it works and helps relive pressure and pain in my body. I highly recommend this service.
Ann-do is a touch of magic captured in a human body. I wasn't sure what to expect when I booked my appointment, I had the best nights sleep and most of my aches and pains have been relieved. I will definately be booking again xx
