Helen met me online to discuss issues arising around the lack of services in my area for my teen disabled son and to roadmap me to voluntary organisations and professionals who can help based on the current family dynamic. Helen listened, providing written notes/minutes from our meeting and also strategies to explore. A knowledgeable and very compassionate lady who is practical in her approach and very supportive of her clients. Keep up the inspiring work.
Helen from Serenity Respite helped us out when we were at a really low ebb and my partner needed care and advice. She provided a safe place for us to build our lives back up and fill the gaps in state provision. I was in touch with a few caring charities and whilst they offered activities they didn't offer the practical things we needed. A person to care for my partner whilst I nipped to the shop.
