I would never step foot in that store. Your manager should be fired and the company should be sued. They are so very inconsiderate of their clients and all they care about is themselves. If you are not a certain age and height and weight and age you don’t last there. It doesn’t matter how good you are you are laid off or fired when they don’t need extra people.
