When comes to Medical care Sentara will let a person suffer. Especially when comes to senior citizens. The staff and doctors just sit at their station and make jokes. The ER is a big game. The insufficient nurse staff brings Security out to intimidate. The insufficient nurse flips the whole situation. Make her insufficient self look good.
Have a more competent staff
The care for my husband by the staff after surgery was not up to part , some rude LNP ‘s. Always trying to get help for him with no avail. Things necessary for him to recover by Doctors orders where not follow. Even asking for ice was a task. If I was not there for him, I don’t know what would have happened. Though we had some amazing nurses the care was not good! I ended up doing everything for him. I hope I never have to go back there!

Went in to be treated in the ER and was assaulted by a nurse. She was so rude I took a pic of her badge, she then grabbed my arms and tried to take my phone from me. I’ve filed charges and they are pending. Called hospital director, spoke to them and never got a call back. This is the nurse. She also scratched my son trying to assault him. Can’t wait for her to answer the charge in court.
My sister had surgery there, every one was so nice.
