Just had my car in at Semtech for a quote after an eye-watering experience at a main dealer. Semtech found that the wrong part was fitted (no mention of that from the dealer) and sorted it out for me there and then. I can't thank them enough! Very helpful, kind staff and clear explanations keeping me informed. I will most certainly take my car there again in the future.
Got car looked at for several issues and asked for quote to fit a headlight( provided). Quoted £175 to fit part at £87 per hour........I was not happy with hourly rate which equates to £180,960 per annum......a bit much for a mechanic, I might add, so I declined the offer........a friend offered to do the job free of charge and completed the job in 20 minutes.........that means that Semtech were charging 2 hours for a 20 minute job and at double the hourly rate of every other garage in Kirky..........ie £175 for 20 minutes w... read more
