Update: 7/28/2020. The VP from NC/SC region, James, reached out when he read our review. He was very polite, professional, and so apologetic about our experience. He contacted the local store manager here in Jacksonville and had the manager, Matthew contact us. Matthew contacted us and refunded us our delivery fees. Matthew was not apologetic at all. My refrigerator had issues that made it too expensive to repair. I had been researching online and felt that American Freight had a good selection and good pricing. I went to this store on 7/8/2020 to purchase a refrigerator. I narrowed it down to 3 that I thought were a good deal. I had some questions so I got a salesman to help. We went to American Freight on Thursday 6/25 because they have same day delivery in a 10 mile range. We bought our fridge around 11. They couldn’t get us a time frame but that it would be at our home before 9pm. At 7:30 they called and said they stopped all deliveries because of the storm. By the time they called it was already done storming. But they don’t deliver on Fridays! They said they would call Friday to let us know when they were coming. Never received a call. Where do I start. Customer service sucks furniture is junk. the leasing place that they go through charges our account multiple times without authorization and on different days sometimes multiple times a week stuff falls apart very easily. Bought a twin size mattress and the springs broke through within the first couple weeks. They don't communicate I called multiple times for our Recliner, which never came in when they said it would. I made a purchase and while sales,person was nice delivery was another story...I waited and waited for 2nd shipment...I called and was hung up on...I called back and was on hold for 35 yes 35 minutes before I hung up and called back yet again and was told I could not be helped...The person told ME to call back Monday when they opened at 11. Customer service was very poor and I think I spent a very good amount to not have excellent service...I want to purchase more for my living room but with this service...it wont be here
RecommendedMatt and Deestin delivered our appliances and they were really efficient, courteous and even explained the main features of the machines! Unfortunately I don’t have the name of the lady who checked us out at the store, but her customer service skill are awesome (she was there on Tuesday evening) thank you everyone for doing a great job!
