On 06/07/2020 I purchased a dryer from the Sears Outlet (now AFF) in Newark, DE in University Plaza. This dryer was purchased online and available for pickup at that store. Unfortunately it was a Sunday night and I could not pick up that day. On Tuesday 06/09/20 I determined that I no longer needed the dryer, as I was able to get my current one working. I purchased a refrigerator from Sears Outlet on May 22nd, it was delivered on June 8th after many issues with delivery and them not calling or returning my calls to set up the delivery (even at one point they told me the delivery driver was involved in a car accident and that's why they never showed up - this was after me getting no response and driving down to the warehouse). Can not reach anyone to confirm delivery. I think I was scammed
Do not recommend! My grandparents bought a washer and dryer set, got it home and the dryer sounds like it is going to blow up when it runs. One person said they added a warranty and sent out a service person then were told it would be $500 to it. Then the manager said that they in fact did not have a warranty, but could maybe add one on for another $400, but otherwise it is just too bad, everything is sold as is and no refunds are given. Had friends buy a dryer, charge them $100.00 more then listed. When they got home and notice it, they were told all sale are final and won’t correct it. Then the next day when hooking it up, found they give them the wrong part to install it.
