Dr.Shappard is caring,considerate and knowledgeable. He is the best doctor I have ever had. He makes you feel comfortable and always takes the time to talk to you about concerns.

I drive 40 miles one way just to see Dr Sheppard and this why, because he listens and care about his patients. He conducts a thorough examination and direct you to plan that will help you prevail your illness. There ain't many doctors left like him.
Copy My family and I have been going to Dr. Shappard for 14 years. We first started seeing him because he was close to home and have since moved to SE Boise but couldn’t imagine going to someone else. He always makes time to ask about each family member no matter who’s appointment it is. You can tell he genuinely cares about the physical and mental well-being of his patients. He is truly an exceptional physician!
The staff at St. Al's Overland are always very warm and welcoming upon arrival at the clinic. This does NOT change as you are checked in, then the medical assistant will take your vital signs (just to ensure that you are indeed still alive. Just kidding), and the doctor is extremely courteous to you (I've had doctors that weren't), every time I visit this clinic, all of my issues are addressed and the staff is a wonderful delight! They all put extra effort into my case, every time!
We've been seeing Dr Shappard for close to 15 years. He's great with the kids, and understands a mom's need to have all the info and then make an informed decision. Always been happy with his service.
I have been seeing Dr Shappard for over 10 years now. My humble opinion is that he is one of the finest primary physicians in the entire Boise Valley. He is caring, considerate, through and cares as a healer rather than just using medicine as a means to pay the bills. I highly recommend him.
Absolutely amazing doctor. I've been going to him for 15 years and have zero complaints. Always friendly, and on top of things. I feel safe with him. Definitely recommend!!!
