Awesome doctor! Not only is Dr. Shappard friendly and approachable, he is extremely empathetic and explains medical information in a way that is easy to understand. He takes his time and answers all my questions. He is the best family doctor I have ever had and we are so lucky to have him in this area!
Shappard has been my doctor for well over a decade and I recommend him to pretty much everyone. He always takes the time to listen to me, treats me like I know what I'm talking about, takes my feelings into consideration when talking about tests, and does his best to take care of me and my whole family. I hope I never have to go another doctor.
Best care I've ever received . He delivered my son and is now his Ped and my doctor! I can always trust him and count on him for fast response .
He was my OBGYN when I was pregnant and now is my primary as well as my son's. I like him as a person but I'm more than dissatisfied with him. So far, he missed a positive for Chlamydia while I was pregnant, didn't realise my blood pressure was too high, hospital ended up endusing for stroke risk. He forgets things. Gave me a birth control that worsened my depression and anxiety that he was well aware of. He doesn't have time for his patients. Just a horrible expirience. (Not all would fit)
Scott is a wonderful doctor who really listens to you and let's you take the lead with your medical decisions (unless he doesn't think it's in your best interests of course). You don't feel like just another number with him. He is always quick to respond and take care of you. He delivered my baby and is now our family doctor. I adore him. His nurse can come off a little abrasive but he is worth it.
