Exceptional hair color – I am new in town and did not know where to go for good hair services. I read the reviews, trusted citysearch and was not disappointed. Simone is the Greatest! – After reading the other reviews, I was excited to go to my appt. with Simone, but also wondering, is she really that great? YES SHE IS!!! They have tons of books and magazines for you to look through and get ideas from. Then Simone took the time to talk to me and figure out what I wanted and how to make it fabulous. Fabulous! – After a repeat bad experience with my haristylist of several years, I looked on City Search for a new one and was impressed by all of the glowing reviews for Scissors. I called Simone and explained my situation, and she was able to get me in that day. What your looking for – I went to scissors about a month ago. and i'm due for return! I love Simone and the time she puts into making your hair turn out EXACTLY how you want to!, sure the parking isn't all that great but she deffinetly makes up for that by making you walk out that door being extremely pleased with your new hair! Great first experience! – This was my first time going to a salon but Simone, Jen, and Tim made me feel comfortable and were very accommodating (Simone even gave me a slice of her pizza that she ordered)! I naturally have black hair but wanted to change it to brown for the first time. Simone did an excellent job coloring my hair and gave me a much needed trim that added layers to my long locks. Simone is truly excellent at what she does; this was apparent to me right away. In addition to this, her and Tim were both easygoing and fun to chat with while I was being styled. Hairstylist that meets your haircare needs! – I had a regular hairstylist, but after reading all of Scissors' positive reviews, I had to go and give this place a try. First, Simone did a trial updo for me for my upcoming wedding and I absolutely loved it!! She did it exactly how I had imagined it to look. I would like to start of by saying that Simone is one of my very best friends but that is not why I let her near me with a pair of scissors! I am very picky about my hair and I don't mind paying what ever it costs to have it look great. I live just out side NYC and am lucky to have Simone constantly visiting to take classes and to attend workshops. I am always excited to be the first to try her new color and haircutting techniques.
