Best salon in Richmond VA – Have written the review several times, but the site is not taking it. So one last try. Went to Scissors for the first time today and I love my hair. My cut feels great and that to me is always the sign of an excellent cut. Not only does it look great, it feels fantastic. An Art Form – I moved down to Richmond a few years ago to go to graduate school. Being from another state, and knowing very few people in the city, I didn't know where to go for a good haircut. Hair salvation... – I moved to Richmond this summer & actually found Scissors on Citysearch. I'm not one to trust everything I read, but I didn't know anyone here yet to get a personal recommendation & I figured if the salon could get virtually perfect ratings, it must be pretty good. Best cut and color ever! – After too many boring, average haircuts and cookie-cutter highlights at other salons, I finally brought my mousy brown hair to Scissors and Simone transformed me! My first visit, I became a strawberry blonde and I was so happy with the results and so confident in her talent that I didn't hesitate to go for a more dramatic change the next time... and the next time... and still going... Scissors is by far the best salon that I have ever been to! Their superior customer service and styling expertise made the experience fun and relaxing! I would suggest anyone that is looking for a great color or style job to come on down to Scissors you will definitely not be disappointed!!
So happy I found Scissors!!!! – I like most people was badly in need of a change. So I got to looking around and reading reviews. A PERSONAL TOUCH AT REASONABLE RATE – I have to say I was very impressed with the service along with the quality I received at Scissors Hair Studio. I had an important meeting and was in dire need of a hair cut. As I was downtown, I stumbled across this salon and was hoping I could walk in for a quick trim. So so..... – This was not the worst, but certainly notanywhere near the best, haricut I've ever had. I also felt like Simone was pushing color -- I just wanted a haircut. I also didn't want the manicure that was suggested, and felt like she was pushing that as well. Maybe it's just me, but I felt like she was a bit aloof after I wasn't opting for more services. Guess this isn't the place for everyone.
