Mothers avoid Scissors Salon – I received a great cut by Melanie. However, the customer relations in the salon was unpleasant. Due to circumstances, I had to bring my baby with me. Great First Experience – After walking around all summer as a HAIR DON'T, I had finally had enough! A co-worker recommended Simone and Scissors, so I gave her a call and she agreed to see me later in the week. When I walked in I was greated by the resident kitten, who had been rescued by Simone and decided to take up residence until a suitable home could be found. GREAT hair coloring – I have had my hair colored about five times by Simone, and each time I was extremely satisfied. I came into her salon today with bright orange hair (the result of a botched dye job) and she was able to completely fix my terrible "do". She did a remarkable job and my hair is FINALLY back to its natural color after three months of being carrot orange. scissors – The best place ever to get your hair done is here! I have always done my own hair but i wanted to go short and i wanted to go blonde so i came to Scissors which was the best thing i have ever done for myself. The atmosphere at Scissors is relaxing and you feel at home. Simone does an excellent job on my hair. i would trust her to anything she wanted to do with my hair! oh and one other thing Simone if you ever leave the state i will have to follow you. you are my first hair stylist and my last!

don't understand all the hype – I was looking for a new hair salon and saw all of these amazing reviews. I thought it was a little suspicious when Scissors has way more reviews than any other salon, but, I listened to all of the glowing reviews and called for an appointment. To my surprise I was able to get an appointment the very same day. Lots of openings. Hmmmm...with such positive reviews, it sure was easy to get in. I dont recall anyone ever having to wait 2 hours for a haircut at our salon. Thats is not possible..We do our best to help in choosing a style for our guests. Air Brush Tanning is the way to go – I have been a client of Simone's for over 8 years now for great cuts and awesome color, but this is the first time I have received an air brush tan. Speaking from the land of very fair skin, this service gave me fabulous color in preparation for my engagement pictures that were being taken the next day. Be prepared to suffer through a night of not showering and looking like PigPen, but it is worth it--as the next day after I could shower, the color evened out and I had a gorgeous NON-ORAN... read more

Thanks for the feedback.. Anyone interested to suffer in the hot sun for 10 days.. or 10 /20 minutes sessions in a tanning salon ?? Who has the times for that? You can have a fabulous tan in 20 minutes.... The cost we think is very reasonable!! We cant make more time and you will have amazing color in only 20 minutes... you dont have to sweat for or travel for... Disappointed – After reading the reviews here I gave it a try. She talked me into color and I didn't even see a difference. The hair cut was a disaster. I looked like I had a mullet with layers on the top that were way too short. I'm not sure why my experience was so different.

Perhaps with some styling tips, you will be more comfortable with the layers.. The newer styles have lots of layers and if you are not used to that, you may have a hard time..
