Great for Men – Before visiting Scissors (and, specifically, Simone) I feared all hair salons. The looked expensive and well, downright girly. So I preferred the bowl cuts I was receiving at barbershops. But after one visit at Scissors I realized what I was missing. Simone does such an excellent job and is so consistent in her work that I have kept going back now for several years. Very professional and very clean.
The best tan of my life! – I moved to Richmond 2 years ago and needed to find a new hair salon. Best salon experience! – For my 21st birthday I wanted to treat myself to a kind of makeover. I found Scissors here and found the ratings to be very helpful. I usually have to get my haircut twice to get it right but with Simone having done such a great job, I wouldn't have my hair any other way! I've gotten so many compliments. Keeper!! – Awesome salon, Simone was great and knew exactly what I wanted. I feel like a totally different person, she took the style I wanted and made it better, more hip and fun. Love the salon, very cozy and comfortable. Everyone was exceptionally nice. I would have to say that moving to a new place the hardest thing for a woman is to find a new salon, this is it...I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone.
Keeper Stylist ! – It?s hard to find good stylists anyway but to find one that hears what client wants: near impossible. Not if Simone?s your stylist. She takes time to listen ,and is nearly a mind reader when it comes to hairstyles. AND She drops in cool styling tips too!! Too Good to be True! – I was sure the other reviews on CitySearch were too good to be true. Much to my amazement, Simone and Tim lived up to everything other customers had written. I walked in with "winter" hair - you know - dry, lifeless, full of static, etc. - and I left with a summer attitude. The color, cut and treatment was amazing - and to top it off, I enjoyed a luxurious pedicure throughout it all! I love my new hair! – My father sent me to Simone to get my hair done and the results were fantastic. I went in her shop hoping to come out looking better for my boyfriend and he couldnt take his eyes off of me. Her staff is friendly and helpful with choosing styles, offerring products and other services. Scissors is unique experience and would reccomend they're services to everyone or anyone.
