worse place i’ve ever been to, allowed girls to self harm without intervention, didn’t offer therapy to every patient, put many of us on medication without knowing any side effects, aim of their game was to make you gain weight and then discharge you, no real help was given. I was forced to drink my own vomit otherwise i was threatened with no leave,no bathroom privacy and the tube. i was at newbride in 2023-2024, it was my first admission and i had no idea what i was going into, but although it was traumatic and scary the people i met there were absolutely amazing, the nurses and HCAs cared for all the patients so much and did all they could to help - Beth, Ellease and Lou (not sure if i can say their names but oh well) you have helped me so much in more ways than you could have imagined, all the advice and support you have given me will stay with me for the rest of my life. my admission definitely had... read more
