Never a bad meal, great down-home service...I like fried catfish on Friday and my wife loves the squash casserole...
I love the carrots and green beans. The food was great, but I'm so veggie lover that my carrots have to be great. The customer service was fabulous!
Either going to Houston or going to San Antonio, I always stop by and get a pie!! The buttermilk pie I'd the best I've ever had and the Chocolate pie is awesome too!!! The fried fish on the buffet is the best!!

Started eating there shortly after they opened. Never been disappointed with food or service always first class. Fried catfish on Friday buffet one of my favs. Fried chicken wonderful, fried pork steaks delicious, coconut and chocolate pie to die for. Vegetables on buffet outstanding. Will eat the Monday on my way home.
It's delicious! We stop each time we go through Columbus. We did have an issue with the wait staff not knowing who was covering our table to get our drink order. Fussing about it right out in the dining area. How difficult is two waters please?
Great place to eat. Reasonable prices and decent portions. But the buffet is what I usually get.
We drove up from Galveston just to have lunch there.
My family and I stop here on our way back home from San Antonio every time. The buffet is always fresh and the servers are friendly. The chicken and meatloaf are the bomb and the veggies are always cooked and seasoned to perfection.
