Favorite menu items include: chicken fried steak, homemade sausage, fried chicken, schnitzel and of course pie. Everyone deserves pie - homemade buttermilk pie, coconut meringue pie, apple pie and chocolate meringue pie are as good as it gets!

The food was great and so was the service. I am getting a bit more brave with trying fish at restaurants. Their smothered baked fish topped with the etouffe was great!!! If i wasn't so full I would've gotten more. Been here twice while traveling and never a disappointment.
18 of us walked in and they had us seated at one big table in 30 minutes. I loved the large vegetable selections, from salads to cooked. The green beans were seasoned with bacon and still crisp, not over cooked. The fish/shrimp etouffee was creamy and delicious, and the buttermilk pie had a thin crisp layer of carmelized sugar on top that was exceptional.
Friendly service and great food!!! Definitely come back for more the next time!
Food was great, service was great, very clean. I think we will put it on our schedule when travelling to San Antonio.
Everything is awesome! I bought a loaf of bread to take home with me and ate it for dinner last night. Service with a smile and always ready and willing to cater to your culinary desires as long as it's on the menu!
