Picked Schobels as a convenient spot for my brother to drive from Austin to meet me for dinner. We hadn't seen each other for several years. Our meals were excellent, and the wait staff was patient and attentive (we were there talking from 5 PM until they closed at 9). We started with the fried green tomatoes, they were crisp outside and tender inside, delicious!
