Very poor communication and very slow to respond to emails even when they bother to respond, got pressured into chosing them by the estate agents for conevyancing. Spent most the time telling me they don't know what's going on and blaming the sellers solicitors (who were also using Sayer Moore). On top of that they requested a non refundable deposit to start work on the case, then 5 months later they say they are unable to start any work and refuse to refund the deposit.

Patronising, condescending, slow and fundamentally not very good at their job. A relatively simple probate has resulted in a (long awaited) HMRC inheritance tax refund of over 5 figures through their ineptitude. Google doesn’t allow zero stars so it has to be 1.

Terrible service from this solicitor when we used them for probate of my mother’s estate. Emails from Corinne and/or her assistants were so difficult to interpret, poorly worded and confusing, which led to delays and worse, a hefty fee (I’m sure part of their scheme), because we had to have so many email exchanges to clarify what on earth was being said. Every time I tried to call Corinne was away, ill, working from home, so couldn’t speak to me. She conveniently “missed” some important emails from us so we have to nudge her... read more
