Loved the smoked chicken. First time I tried white BBQ Sauce. Loved it. Had a great pepper kick.
This is one Place I will definitely be returning to when I'm back in town. I recommend everything on the menu especially the whole fried okra and the smoked chicken. The pulled pork was good and moist not dried out like you get at some of the other places.
Y’all gotta try the sweet tea fried chicken sandwich! Awesome with the white bbq sauce.
A BBQ place with white sauce was wheat-free option! We got our food quickly, and it was AMAZING! I had one of the baked potatoes, my daughter had a BBQ chicken plate, and my husband had a regular pulled pork BBQ sandwich. By far the best food we had during our weekend stay in Birmingham.
Great food at a good price
Saw’s Soul Kitchen is always a grand slam home rum! Every single item was prepared expertly from the tender and tangy pulled pork to the juicy white sauce covered chicken to the luscious cheese grits topped with spicy Cajun shrimp! The side items were equally impressive and made you feel like you stepped into a kitchen that was a combination of grandma’s home cooking and a world champion bbq master! Thank you Saw’s for blowing my socks off yet again!
