Made the drive out of the way to try this place on our way home and couldn't be happier with the decision! Wow, delicious! Only sad I couldn't have tried more of the amazing menu in our short time here.

It's worth the 15 minute drive off I-65! The homemade lemonade had the perfect blend of tart with sweet!the fried green tomatoes had the perfect crunch and the bbq pork was melt in your mouth tender with just the right amount of end piece char chopped in! The bun was buttered and toasted and I chose a white bbq sauce which was out of this world!!! Barbeque was very tasty and tender. People were lined up the whole time we were there.
Great food in a tiny place. Six tables and long lines should not dissuade you from visiting. The bbq, sweet tea chicken sandwich, bbq corn on the cobb and shrimp and grits are superb. Don't skip the banana pudding for desert. Quality Birmingham bbq!
I hate to tarnish what seems to be an awesome place, but unfortunately we did not get this great experience. Walking in, we were looked at, blankly, by the cashier. When I asked about fried oysters, he bluntly told me, "I can't hear a word you are saying, you will have to get closer." The answer turned out to be no, which I told him I saw it on a Yelp website. Went today for our 1st time and will for sure not be our last. The food was amazing. We live an hour away and would drive the anytime. Great food!
Our first visit as we were traveling through from Texas. And as y'all know- people from Texas know their bar bq! Well, this was amazing! We had the pulled pork, grits and greens. Atmosphere and people were great. Thank you and we will definitely be back!
I loved the atmosphere. You know its good when they have to keep telling people to close the door because there is a line winding out of it! Everything we ordered was the best we have ever had. Can't wait to make it back this way again.
