Looks can be deceiving. But for me, I knew it was going to be great when I walked in. My wife had the fried green tomato BLT, my son had a burger, and I had the sample plate with fried corn. Oh my god! The corn was perfect and the wings that came with my plate were the absolute best wings I’ve ever had. I wasn’t crazy about the pulled pork. It’s not bad, it just didn’t rock my world like those wings did. The family loved it. We will be back.
This place has the best barbecue! I love it! The fried okra is amazing!!
My wife and I were driving home to Lexington, KY from the Gulf Shores. After a week of mostly seafood, some good, some not so much. I wanted to have some authentic Alabama bbq. We ended up finding this place. I had the pulled smoked chicken with a couple deviled eggs, both excellent. My wife had a fried chicken sandwich that was marinated in sweet tea and pickle juice topped with slaw, pickles, and Alabama style white sauce. It was sweet and spicy and to die for!
