Although I prefer recycling that may be placed in the same bin, I am pleased, overall, with SSC. Although our recycling pickup didn't happen on the day that it was scheduled, last week, I left it out and it was picked up a couple of days later.
I called so they could assist with a neighbor that leaves their tote out the day AFTER collection day so it sits in front of my house for a full for two weeks. No help whatsoever. Although the woman who answered wasn't rude per se, she was completely disinterested. I want the pick up area for these neighbors moved so I do not have to continue to clean up my neighbors garbage when it blows over from the wind & blows through my Yard! I don't want to complain but why is your phone ALWAYS busy?!? Maybe get a system so people can leave their number so you can call back? I swear every time i call SSC (because they forget to pick up my compost) the line is always busy. Very frustrating. Otherwise a fine garbage company (but also our only option). Respect them for their support of community events.
Always messing up pick up days, continually having to call and check up on them.
Do not appreciate the recycling p/u guy leaving other garbage in our recycling bins, or leaving some of our recycling begind when it is right there with all other recycling.
