Sang Kee – So far, the best chinese restaurant I've stumbled upon. At least that is in the affordable range. efficient service and quality food make this a regular for my chinese fix. I haven't tried their Reading Terminal Stand but if i worked in town I certainly would.
Yum – Some of the better food I have had. Not much on appearance, but the food is definitely worth it. Love those Wontons!!!
duck from heaven – This is with no doubt the best duckhouse I have been to. They have an excellent menu from duck noodle soup to fried sesame milk balls. Parking is directly out front with minimal charge. They have seating for 1 or 10 depending on the company you keep. Enjoy your dinner here, I know I will!
Yummy , Yummy in my Tummy – Very good. Enjoy the Honey Roasted Pork and House Fried Rice, Sweet and Sour Shrimp and Sesame Shrimp with Lemon sauce the Best! Great food at very reasonable prices. Enjoy the Local atmosphere.
Where to go when you go to Chionatown – Absolutely the best. For two people or for 20 you can not have better food at a cheaper price. Try the appatizers all night long or get right to the main course. This place blows the rest out of the water
Great food and a cheap date – My wife and I are Chinatown regulars, and Sang Kee is a new favorite for us. We shared a giant bowl of wonton soup (good, but needed a little hit of the many condiments on our table) which came with the duck-for-two dinner, at $24.95--soup, crispy golden peking with pancakes and plum sauce, and a nice shredded duck dish with fresh fried rice. Add the (frightfully named, but excellent) "Sesame Fried Milk" appetizer, and $2.50 Heinekins, and you can have a great time on the cheap here.
The Ugly Duckling – This is as authentic as it gets to a Chinese duck house. With the hanging ducks, the great noodle dishes, the steamy atmosphere...there's nothing better. The servers can take forever though, depending on what time you get there. At least they don't make you feel rushed to get in and out considering the restaurant's small size.
10 – Every week I look forward to driving from Wilmington, Delaware to Philadephial PA for the best Lunch in PHilly and having the best of the best Roast and or Peking Duck, House special wonton soup or anything on the menu, at my favorite restuarant, Of course that would be SANGKEE PEKING DUCK HOUSE at 9th Street between Race and Vine Streets in Philadelphia YOU CAN'T BEAT THIS RESTAURNT !!!!
