They avoid maintenance responsibilities, then charge you for them later. They are literally the worst landlords Ive ever had.
Absolutely horrendous company. After living in my apartment for 6 years, never missing a payment etc. I was told my tenancy would not be renewed due to a mandatory renovation. I was originally offered the opportunity to relocate to a renovated unit, but after several attempted conversations with management- which was the property manager screaming at me- I received an official non renewal and would not be offered the opportunity to relocate. The property itself is so decayed, with the water being shut off several times a wee... read more
One star is ONE star too many!!! I've rented properties for the last 15 years all over the **. I've never rented a Greystar property before, and WON'T EVER DO IT AGAIN! Every week it seems there's another issue. I live in ****************** in ********, **. Our parking isn't patrolled and management does nothing, leaving tenants no spots to park despite paying for permitted parking. When you ask management, they insist they are towing, but even today, there is a car with a warning on it that has been there for 3 weeks, not m... read more
I live the ****** lascollinas apartment and its worst experience i ever had
If I could award negative stars, I would. Greystar only cares about making money. They don't care about creating inconveniences for residents. The property I live in has been under construction for over a year. They are remodeling by covering things with "fresh paint" and upgrading appliances all for a near $500 increase in rent for everyone. If you don't want to pay the increase, you can move out is the only option given. In fact, if you want to stay a resident at all you must move to a more expensive unit. This clearly put... read more
I live in Apex Apartments in ******, **; they are "managed" by Greystar. I moved in here a month ago. I really wanted to like the place--its in a convenient location and a spacious apartment. Its not cheap, they have strict regulations on guests, and make it appear as if they care about security, so I assumed it would be better run. I was mistaken. When we first got there to move in they didnt even have our paperwork, and we had to wait like an hour for someone else to come in and issue the keys. Not a good first impression. ... read more
Do not rent at ***************** in ********. The business manager, **** allows tentants to make all kinds of noise after quiet hours. Lease states quiet after 10pm and she does not support. I have shared my concerns of minimal to no sleep countless times and her response is unethical furthermore not making any sense. My apartment will be vacant soon and the neighbor below DOES NOT SLEEP all he does is make loud noises throughout the night. So inconsiderate and it's allowed despite what is written in the lease. Do not rent a... read more
I wish *********** had the tendency to explain everything clearer to anyone who is interested in renting here, like explaining the exception for undergraduate students and providing the available guarantor third party options for undergraduates once they know the applicant is an undergraduate student and more. In addition, if anything comes up, *********** should contact the applicant both through email and phone at the same time/day if one of the options does not work, since the office has both contact information on file. ... read more
My wife, and infant moved into this "202 Copper" during the worst parts of the pandemic, things for the most part were still closed. This leasing office for whatever reason was still open. They did however take advantage of the situation and wouldn't let us see the apartments except through a FaceTime call. However, folks that were caucasian were still getting live tours. That was our first inclination that there may be racial motivations here. Altogether we've experienced that since moving from *******, and simply didn't ex... read more
