Highly professional and skilled, excellent surgeon who listens well to patients
I had torn my rotator cuff and my bicep tendon was shredded. I lived with it for about a year and finally decided to get surgery. Dr. Samuel Koo was recommended by my physical therapist. It was the best decision I ever made. He made it very clear to me what needed to be done. What convinced me was when he told me that Brett Favre had the same surgery done and the following year was his best year as a Pro Quarterback. Bottom line, a torn tendon will NOT heal on it's own. Dr. Koo is brilliant!
I had a torn rotator cuff and was told it would be a 3 1/2 hour surgery by a prominent surgeon. I turned to Dr. Koo as a second opinion. He did a wonderful job, including an undiagnosed torn bicep muscle in an hour and a half. Eleven months later all is well. I highly recommend this gentleman and his assistant Claudia Kotaly to anyone in the Kirkland or immediate area if shoulder work is needed.
This is an excellent Dr. He takes the time to do things in a way that ensures an optimum outcome. Having both shoulders repaired for calcification of followed by repair of rotator cuff, and second procedure to remove crazy invasive scar tissue, I can assure any reader of this testimonial they will be in good hands with Dr. Koo, and I can confidently recommend him to any person with a similar problem.
Best experience!! I saw another physician in the same office and left the visit feeling unsure, I did research and scheduled to see Dr. Koo instead. He repaired my shoulder and I am now back to normal. His entire staff was easy to work with and I have nothing but good things to say.
