Dr. Koo performed surgery on my shoulder in February of 2018. I still have shoulder pain and reduced mobility, and expect that will be true for the rest of my life. After I had an MRI, Dr. Koo diagnosed me as having a torn rotator cuff. He was confident he could repair it, and told me I would be able to do everything I used to do. Six days after total reverse shoulder replacement. Pain is less than I expected. Range of motion is good and having first physical therapy appointment tomorrow. Very pleased with the doctor and his support staff. Todd Wolfe, Snohomish, Wa.
When I thought I might need shoulder surgery I really did my homework! I chose Dr. Koo based on what I learned. I don't think I could have made a better choice. He fully explained why I needed a shoulder replacement and answered all my questions. He's an EXCELLEMT surgeon! BONUS, he accepts Medicare as do the anesthiologists he uses. He was specific as to what my physical therapist should do during my recovery. His PA-C Claudia Kalotay is also exceptional.
Dr. Koo has done Bicep tendon and rotator cuff surgery on both of my shoulders and all I can say is "WOW" my compliments to his entire staff and the ProLiance surgeons group. They are organized, pleasant, caring and all together fantastic. I can't say one bad thing!
Shoulder replacement surgery could not have gone better. Off pain medications in 2 days, almost full range of motion by 4 months. Strength training now and expect to be back to 100% soon. I attribute this to Dr. Koo and his post operative staff. Thanks!
Dr. Koo and his team are wonderful! The level of service that was provided from start to finish couldn't have been smoother. His team works together to make sure that patient care if their top priority. I have worked with Dr. Koo, Jennefer and Gema and am pleased with all of them.
Dr. Koo completely changed (for the better) my Husbands health. He did a complete Shoulder Replacement Surgery on him...and all I can say is it made such a wonderful difference in his life. He, and his assistant, Claudia Kalotay, have my husband, smile and have a "zest" that I've not seen for over 12 years. His surgery had minimal pain...(Only the first 3 to 4 days)...the ice machine, was all that was needed for pain, the rest of his recovery. Thank you Dr. Koo. You care, and it shows!
I Eric Pello am satisfied with the out come of my surgery, there were a couple bumps along the way, but the final out come was very good. Came to the right place , and would recommend Dr Koo's to anyone that needs this kind of surgery. Thank you all.
Absolutely recommend Dr. Koo to anyone with a rotator cuff injury! Amazing surgeon, his 5 star rating does not sufficiently express how good he is.
