I found Dr.Koo to be quite terse. I had rotator cuff surgery with him last year and although the damage was extensive he was able to repair most of the damage. After the surgery I never saw Dr.Koo again, only his PA and although she was wonderful it seemed to me that Dr.Koo took no interest in my 9 month recovery. I had to make a special appointment to see him and when I tried ro discuss the pain and limited movement with my shoulder he flippantly said "Ive done all I can for you" and left .

Everyone who works with Dr. Koo and Claudia says amazing things about them, and now that they’ve done my surgery I understand why. Not only was the surgery more successful than my prior surgeries, but I was better prepared for it, I felt less pain, and I’m recovering faster. I often get asked advice as to how to prepare for shoulder surgery. At this point my answer would simply be to go to Dr. Koo and Claudia, and to do everything they say.

Dr. Koo and his (PA) Claudia are exceptional medical providers. I have been associated with Pro Orthro since the beginning of time. I have never had a bad experience with any of the doctors, would highly recommend them to anyone.

The quality of care and the whole overall experience with Dr Koo and his staff was so wonderful. Every step from my beginning office visit to my post op apt went flawless.

I finally made the decision to have my shoulder repaired after postponing surgery for many years. The pain had become unbearable and was a 'quality of life' issue. After meeting with Dr. Koo, MD and his assistant, Claudia Kaloty, PAC, I knew I had found the right team. From day 1 I felt much better and now, 6 months after surgery, I feel like a million dollars, pain free with a great range of motion. This surgery was the best decision I have ever made.

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Koo. Over the course of about two and a half years, I was dealing with a painful shoulder injury. I had seen quite a few medical practitioners in the past for this injury, including several other shoulder surgeons in the Seattle area, with no resolution or even a clear indication of what the problem was. Dr. Koo was able to both diagnose the issue with my shoulder and resolve it completely via surgery. I'm very thankful for his efforts.

From my initial visit, through my surgery and follow up visits Dr Koo and his staff have done an excellent job evaluating my condition and explaining what they would do and what I needed to do and expect. My appointments have always run on time and been a very positive experience. My shoulder feels a lot better now than it did before my surgery, and I'm not anticipating any problems getting back to the athletic activities that I enjoy.

Hi Dr. Koo, I had appointment with you on 04/11/2017 at 2:45 PM. This appointment was rescheduled as you were not available lasy Friday. I reached 30 minutes before the appointment. Checked in. Since I was not called till 2:50 PM, went to receptionist and asked about it, This person told me doctor is running 20 minutes late. Since I had another appointment at 3:30 had to leave by cancelling the appointment. It would ave been good if they called me in advance and told regarding the delay.

Dr. Koo was able to see me quickly, took time to explain all options (including not having surgery). He met me prior to surgery to explain everything, as did his PA. Surgery went smoothly and now a year later (6 months of PT) my shoulder is 100% better!
