Absolutely shocking experience. Took my alloy here for a weld, paid £180, and was sent off thinking the job was done properly. Fast forward two weeks later after not even driving the car, the tyre is flat again and surprise surprise, the crack hasn’t even been welded properly (if at all). Went back to confront them and suddenly they start talking about “no guarantee.” Funny how that was NEVER mentioned before taking my money. Absolutely shocking experience with Sambo Tires. My brother paid for a new tyre AND a weld repair on the alloy. We were clearly told by the worker that it would be “fine for a long time” — no mention whatsoever of “no guarantee” when they happily took the money. I drove the car home (a short, careful drive), then went abroad. When I came back, the tyre was completely flat — clearly the repair failed almost immediately.
