Sam did an analogue shoot for me and it was such a dream. He found his way to and through the location (an ancient Celtic Cave on a big hill) so we had somewhere really special to shoot. We just had three hours together but got lots of varitey and Sam made everything feel comfortable and easy. I'm really happy with both the quality and turn around with the images we got. We hired Sam to capture our very first Odyssey Survival Series event this year and Sam did not disappoint! Not only was he very friendly and professional, he was clearly extremely knowledgeable, amazing with a camera and managed to grab some outstanding photography all whilst completing what is an epic challenge for most! I participated in a photography workshop with Sam as part of CHECC, a student caving event in the UK. Sam was an engaging, well informed photographer who was able to simplify complex processes so that novices could understand. We had a lesson which was followed by a trip into the caves getting stuck in in the process. I felt safe participating in the activities - it was a really cool cave to explore.
