We come here once a week for the Vaquero Tacos and the salsa changed! Why??? Ugh. Its aweful. The service is so great...and now i have to bring my own salsa.... sigh
My experience was great. We were seated promptly and the waitress came out right away. The food was delicious although one order in my party was incorrect. The waitress apologized and said she would fix it. The manager then came out, apologized again, told us to just keep the incorrect order, and asked if there was anything else he could do. Chain restaurants are alot like car dealerships, the products are the same, it's the service that makes a difference. I would highly recommend this location.
I am surprised that this location is able to maintain as high of a rating as they have. Every time I try this location it’s simply terrible. I usually do not go out of my way to write a review but this place is just managed badly. We are Landry members and eat at Saltgrass probably once a week. Today we tried the Mesquite location again and I should’ve just gone out of the way to go to the Rockwall location. First thing was we were sat with no silverware because there was none ready. I don’t want to get where dogs are allowed when they are not service animals
I don’t know what happened to this location. We were told it was a 1 to 2 hour wait when we got there. Which I am convinced the staff was purposely saying that to turn people away. And several parties did leave. There were clearly 4 to five tables open and cleaned. Then we are told we can’t be seated because the kitchen was backed up. Which is confusing in itself.
